ORPHEUS is a large-diaphragm condenser offering three switchable polar patterns — omni, cardioid and figure-of-eight — built into a body cast from zinc alloy specifically to keep mechanical resonance out of the signal path. That combination of pattern flexibility and a quiet, resonance-free body makes it a natural choice for vocalists and acoustic sources where a producer wants tonal options without swapping microphones mid-session.

The 1.07-inch dual-diaphragm capsule is mounted on its own internal suspension, floating inside the wide spherical grille rather than fixed rigidly to the body, which further isolates it from handling and stand noise. Beyond the usual -10dB pad, ORPHEUS adds an unusual +10dB boost mode, letting engineers pull the mic further back from a source to capture more room character while keeping output levels strong and noise low.
