Overview

The OC818 – our original Holy Grail. Handcrafted in Vienna with the CKR12 capsule for extreme detail and high SPL handling. Dual outputs and optional wireless control via OCR8 give you full flexibility. Shape polar patterns, stereo, or Ambisonics in post – one mic, total control, legendary sound.

The Austrian Audio OC818 multi-pattern condenser microphone combines classic design with modern innovation to go where no mic has gone before.

Our handmade CKR12 ceramic capsule reimagines the celebrated CK12 capsule to deliver exceptional detail and nuance while also handling extremely high SPL.

This microphone is finished in matte black (identical specification to the standard OC818).
