Boasting an ultra-flat frequency response with extremely low distortion and self-noise, the TDP direct boxes excel at capturing everything from synthesizers and keyboards to acoustic-electric guitar and electric bass with a certain subtle and unique character. At the heart of all TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik direct boxes are custom-wound output transformers made in England by OEP/Carnhill. Each channel features premium metal Amphenol connectors and recessed metal switches to engage the -15 dB pad and ground lift. These elements combined with premium passive components (including 1% tolerance metal film resistors, and WIMA and Nichicon capacitors) are all housed in a rugged aluminum chassis designed to withstand the wear and tear of the road. Like all TELEFUNKEN microphones, all TDP direct boxes are assembled and critically tested in Connecticut, USA.

Key Features

Custom-wound OEP/Carnhill transformer, made in the UK

-15 dB pad switch

Ground lift switch

Rugged aluminum construction

Recessed switches and connectors for protection

100% through-hole components

Amphenol connectors

WIMA and Nichicon capacitors

1% 1/4W metal film resistors

3-year warranty

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0816/6801/4303/files/Telefunken-Direct-Boxes-Series-TDP-2-PIG-01.png?v=1788250183
