Overview

The DM-1T is the tom-tom counterpart to the DM-1S, sharing the same compact pencil-condenser body and 24mm true condenser capsule but voiced and packaged for placement around a tom rack rather than a snare. Its small footprint means it can be clamped close to the rim without interfering with a drummer’s stick work or getting knocked out of position mid-song.

A -10dB pad switch is built in to cope with the sharp transient hits toms produce, extending the mic’s SPL handling well past what a typical small-diaphragm condenser could take unprotected. It is supplied with a rim clamp for fast, secure tom mounting and travels in its own aluminium flightcase alongside the rest of the DRUMPACK lineup.
